Resorbable, pure-phase beta-tricalcium phosphate matrix + 4% silicate

CERASORB® Bioactive is a porous, non-organic, biocompatible bone regeneration material containing 4% silicon made for filling, bridging and reconstruction of bone defects and augmentation of the atrophied alveolar ridge. This fully resorbable bone graft provides the potential to increase bioactivity. In contrast to materials of biological origin, CERASORB® Bioactive eliminates laborious treatment with alkali and heat for the removal of organic components.

Indications

  • Sinus lift
  • Socket and ridge preservation
  • Periodontal defects
  • Horizontal and vertical augmentation
  • Implant bed preparation
  • Alveolar ridge reconstruction
  • Cystic defects

Benefits

  • 100% non-organic, safe bone regeneration material
  • 75 % interconnected porosity provides increased surface area for all important tissue and cell structures to remodel into host bone (scaffold principle)
  • Natural resorption and bone remodeling within 4-6 months
  • Radiopaque provides ease of visualization during the remodeling process
  • Irregular shaped granules enhance mechanical stability and minimizes micro-movements
